Manning, who led the Indianapolis Colts to victory in Super Bowl XLI, chose not to disclose the dollar amount of his donation. It will increase the annual recipients from one student to two, said Tiffany Carpenter, UT development and alumni affairs spokeswoman.

The scholarship recipients, first-year students chosen based on academic achievement, leadership and community service, receive full tuition, room and board. Recipients are part of the Haslam Scholars Program, UT's top specialized honors program..............
